My goal in 2019 is to get in front of more offices, businesses and organizations to spread the word of gut health, chronic illness and how to balance work, family and still have optimum health! I get asked ALL the time about what to do when you are out and about and need a snack...while Rx bars are not my only suggestion, they are a great tool!!🙋‍♀️ # I love this particular comparison for 2 reasons: # 1) ✔️✔️"Think Thin" is such a diet catch phrase. Marketers are smart and they use colors, labels and words to make our brains attracted to something. Labels that say 'fat-free", "sugar-free" etc.... are tempting and may SOUND healthy but when you take a look at the ingredients it's almost always less than stellar.😭 # 2) Labels are where it's at....something that is labeled as a health food has soy and sugar substitutes and even with those sacrifices has MORE calories than the bar on the right. Soy can be problematic for us because it mimics estrogen in the body (estrogen dominance is the most common hormone imbalances) AND because unless labeled otherwise, is normally a GMO product. # 🍒🍓🥝We want to eat the least amount of processed food as possible right? But when we are busy having things that other people made for us is OK.😘 It's part of life. What we want to look for is brands that are conscientious and bout HEALTH not just fad marketing words. # A few other snack bars I'd recommend checking out: Bulletproof Lara That's It Raw Revolution # Not every bar will have 6 ingredients or less....some may have just as long a list as the Think Thin bar....if that's the case make sure you read it and understand what's in it. I had the WEIRDEST dream that I was about to go into a polygamist marriage and when I realized that meant sharing time and sleeping with someone else ❗️ I ran to Patrick and was like no way man! I can’t do this! ❌ Then I thought about babies and I was like “if I have a baby it better be YOURS!” 😂😂😂😂😂 At least @patrick.terhune can rest assured knowing that even my subconscious only wants to snuggle with him 😍😍😍😍

This posts gets DEEP! 😱Look at the HUGE difference there is between a homemade 4oz burger with flavor and toppings and a double cheeseburger from McD's! 🤮Read to the bottom!👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 # Take a look at how all the totals SKYROCKET when you add a simple and addicting side of medium fries....☠️❌ # But let's take a look at the details🧐....under the double cheeseburger and fries you have tons of calories and sodium and carbs sure.... but beyond that they are EMPTY calories. 🙅🏼‍♀️ zero nutritional value. Ok, let’s be generous. Maybe some semi-good protein but that’s about where it stops...Let's look even closer at the ACTUAL ingredients….since IG limits my post I’ll give you the highlights: # For the FRIES: Beef flavor which contains milk and wheat, color, and dextrose (sugar) ❗️❗️❗️BEEF FLAVOR on FRIES? Inflammatory oils..and COLOR? why do fries need color?⁉️⁉️⁉️ # BUN: Tons of garbage # CHEESE 🧀 Ingredients: Soy and color added # KETCHUP High Fructose Corn Syrup, ⬅️Corn Syrup, ⬅️Natural Flavors. # OH.EM.GEE. 😭🤯😰 # Ok enough depression let’s look at some good news 🤗🤗🤗🤗💕💕✅✅✅ # On the homemade side, you have grass-fed beef, sauerkraut, green chilis and a sweet potato which provides lots of healthy protein, fiber, slow burn carbs....not to mention 482% of your vitam A ( thanks sweet potato!). 😄 # One more thing 💜💙 # Sometimes whats even MORE important is what's missing....when you cook food at home and choose high quality ingredients you skip the grain fed, antibiotic raised, hormone filled, mistreated animals and you get nutrient dense well treated, grass-fed animals instead. You also get fewer calories, more nutrients, more energy and less inflammation. # It's a win win win for you AND them! 🍇🍉🐏🐓🐄😀😍😋
